How to clean a filthy tub Dawn and Comet Test

The drain in this tub is clogged, and when the dirty water backs up it settles in the textured surface of the fiberglass tub. Ewww. Today we're doing a test, cleaning half of the tub with Comet cleanser and the other half with Dawn Dish soap which is known to cut grease and muck. We start the experiment by rinsing the tub with water so the cleaning detergents will stick, and a Scotch Brite no scratch sponge.
