You haven’t experienced Wagamamas if you haven’t had the chilli squid. • It’s super crunchy, chewy, sweet, sour, hot and spicy. The way the squid is cut allows it to hold all the flavour of the shichimi powder. The sensation when dipped into the tangy dip is delightful! • Fulfil your Wagamamas chilli squid from the comfort of your home by using the recipe below. • Prep time : 15 mins Cooking time: 2-3 mins| Serves: 2 people • Ingredients: • Chilli Squid • -200g Squid, body only (purchased from @wingyipstore ), • -4 tbsp cornflour, • -1 tbsp shichimi powder (purchased from @wingyipstore ), • -pinch of salt to season the flour, • -oil to fry the squid, • Spicy Vinegar-makes 150ml • -50g caster sugar, • -2 tbsp water, • -5 tbsp malt vinegar, • -5 tbsp light soy sauce, • -pinch of sea salt, • -1 red chilli finely chopped, • -handful of coriander, finely chopped. • Hope you enjoy this recipe!
