Wizz Air 1000 women pilots by 2027

As part of our WIZZ Cares sustainability platform, we have committed to recruiting 1,000 women pilots by 2027. Currently under 5% of our pilot workforce are women and we’re aiming for this number to be over 20% by the end of the decade. We will do this by creating a healthy and supportive work environment for everyone and breaking down old-school gender stereotypes one step at a time. For this, we followed Captain Andreea Popa and Senior First Officer Minola Platon on a return flight from Budapest to Skopje and talked to them about the highlights of being a pilot at WIZZ. • Thinking about training to become a pilot?
