Every time I see her in a fanfiction she's like a copy of Ginny or Hermione and (which BTW I'm not hating anyone who does that, it CAN be fun to read) I can totally understand, but it annoys me so much. Why is she either perfect (with no flaws) or a total b***h (in regards to her friendship with Snape) which, BY THE WAY, should not be her only personality trait. 😭 I get that it's one of the only thing we learn about her in the series, but it could be so easy to make her a flawed character WITHOUT making that her entire personality. • Like, IDM even dark or morally grey Lily Evans- one of my favourite fics about her is where she's portrayed as a terrible person (https://archiveofourown.org/works/144..., but PLEASE her entire life does not revolve around Severus Snape or James Potter.
