This video is about a roller coaster accident at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. This coaster had its cable snap as it was leaving the station and approaching a steep, uphill climb. The debris from the cable can be seen flying into the faces of the passengers on the coaster at the time of the cable snap. You can see the camera shake violently during the snap due to the huge recoil that the cable exerted on the coaster car. The cable had so much energy that it practically sliced the coaster car's plastic and fiberglass body in two. This video contains a slow motion version of the real-time video.
