The inscription is believed to commemorate Dungarth, King of Cornwall who died around 875. • The Hurlers Stone Circles - The Hurlers is a group of three stone circles in Cornwall, England, on the eastern flank of Bodmin Moor. A legend tells, that men were magically transformed into stones as punishment for playing 'hurling' on a Sunday. • Cornish Mining Engine House Ruins • Trethevy Quoit, a Neolithic 'dolmen' burial chamber • Jamaica Inn, Cornwall’s legendary inn, which was immortalised in Daphne du Maurier’s novel of the same name.
