Now that we've covered some basics regarding drug nomenclature, drug administration, and the ways they move through and interact with the body, it's time to dive into a survey of specific drugs so we can learn about as many as we can. Let's start with a class that everyone is familiar with. These are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs for short. These include aspirin, ibuprofen, and some of the most commonly used over-the-counter drugs. What do they do? How do they work?
