How to Download a Video file from YouTube to your computer in 2020 • Want to know how you can easily download one of your Videos from your YouTube channels to your computer? • Maybe you have lost the original video file or simply wanted to access and download the raw video file on your computer. • Or like me, you may have run YouTube live streams and wanted to download the raw video file after the live event, if so, then this is a fantastic way to access those video files • Fear not, as inside todays video I will show you how easy it is to download your videos. • First things first – login to your YouTube creator studio account • Next click videos in the left side bar • Scroll to the video you wish to download to your computer • Hover over the video and you will see a tool bar menu appear. • Click the three dots within this toolbar and a sub menu will then appear with various options • One of these options is to download the file. • Click this and you can then name the file and choose your download location for the mp4 file. • Alternatively, you can check the box to the side of the video and inside the upper menu bar you will notice a ‘more actions’ link. • Click this and you will see the option to download. • Click this and you can then name the file and choose your download location for the mp4 file. • So, downloading your videos files from YouTube is as easy as that. • It is also good to know you can do this just in case you ever lose your raw video file or if you livestream and then want to access a copy of the video after the live event is over. • My name is Chris Cole from Broadcast Geeks.com and I hope you found this tutorial helpful.
