Impossible Geometry Socks Knitting Pattern Release

Alright, so, the Impossible Geometry Socks have made it through testing, editing and are now, I'm thrilled to say, are available in my Web Shop, or as a download for Patrons! • Huge thanks to @malabrigoyarn863 for helping bring these socks to life! • These socks were originally inspired by an Art Nouveau themed magazine call back in Summer 2021. After playing with various stitch swatches, what I got instead was a stitch pattern that reminded me more of the Impossible Geometry that is so prevalent in the works of M.C. Escher. • The Blocks Stitch Pattern is made with a combination of slipped stitches and one-over-four cables, this means that the leg and the top of the sock have far less stretch then the stocking stitch sole of the sock. • What will you need? • 1) Yarn: • You will need between 1 to 2 skeins of fingering-weight sock yarn (depending on size!) • 2) Needles • The socks use a 2.25 mm (US 1) circular needle, or you could use double-pointed needles too! • 3) Pattern: The pattern is available in my Web Shop (don't forget, if you're a Patron, you can download the pattern on Patreon) • Photography Credit: Stephanie Wallace • Additional pictures from Unsplash and Pixabay
