Echo SRM-225 Weed Eater Maintenance - Going to do a little maintenance clean on the echo weed eater. I check important areas, like the carburetor, spark plug, muffler and engine block for your echo srm 225 weed eater. • If you need help doing an echo carburetor clean, watch it here - • Echo carburetor clean • ABOUT VIDEO: • This video shows me analyzing the air filter, spark plug, muffler, and inside the engine block (the piston and cylinder). I clean all these parts to make sure this weed eater performs to the best of its ability. If you don't provide maintenance, these parts will get dirty, become difficult to start and hard to clean. • An important part in this video is when you see me looking at the piston and cylinder head. These parts need to be cleaned maybe once or twice a year. NOTE: (If you're fuel mixture is wrong, the piston, cylinder head, muffler, carburetor and spark plug will get super clogged with black carbon deposits all over it if the fuel mixture isn't mixed correctly) • HERE'S ANOTHER NOTE: When mixing your gas for your hand held equipment, make sure you measure correctly. The measurement is: 2.6oz of oil per 1 gallon of gas. Very simple :) • If you follow how I did everything in the video, you will have no problems with your weed eater.
