This video explains episode 13 of Attack on Titan season 4, in which Zeke Yaeger’s secret plot was finally revealed. The Jaegerists continue to take control of Paradis island and make important moves to find Zekes location. Meanwhile Gabi and Falco attempt to talk to Niccolo but their conversation takes a detour once Niccolo realises that Gabi killed Sasha Braus. Ragako is Connie’s hometown. Due to Zeke’s royal blood, he has certain abilities that are similar to the founding titan, with one of them being that he can turn any eldian into a pure titan once they ingest his spinal fluid. He did this during the battle of shiganshina and at the battle of fort slava. • The problem here is that much like the gas that was used to destroy Ragako, the marlyean wine contains Zeke’s spinal fluid, so if he’s within range, then he can titanise those who drank it. Yelena knew that the wine was tainted the whole time and told Marlyeans like Nicollo to serve to it to the high ranking officers. • Zeke mentioned to Levi how the eldians in Ragako froze up when they consumed his spinal fluid and we even saw them falling to the ground. The truth is that this was a lie that Zeke told to multiple people, and his reason for doing so was genius. • Gabi and Falco specifically came so they could talk to Nicollo, after Kaya previously told them that he was a marlyean soldier. Using the same bottle of wine that he snatched from Jean, Nicollo to attempted to smash Gabi’s head in but luckily for her Falco intervened. • Nicollo clearly regretted his mistake here but that didn’t stop him from punching Gabi in the face. After taking her and falco upstairs, he reveals the terrible truth to Sasha’s family, which of course is that Gabi is responsible for killing Sasha. It’s interesting to note that in spite of Gabi’s actions, none of Sasha’s friends in the survey corps actually wanted her to be punished. • Niccolo holds Falco hostage to try and get reaction out of Gabi, as he explains why Sasha was so important to him and why her life meant something. • • Back in the forrest, a few soldiers inform Levi about how the Yaegrists are beginning to take control within the walls. In case you maybe forgot, Hanji confirmed last week that there are 3 soldiers besides herself that knew Zeke’s location and these two guys are part of that select few. In the manga, they reveal that Pixis is currently working on a plan to have Eren eaten by someone else but the captain has always believed that Eren was humanities best hope for survival, hence why he saved him so many times. Levi thinks that Zeke should be the one to be eaten, though of course right now that’s an impractical idea. If Zeke was to be eaten by someone without royal blood then paradis would’t be able to fight back against Marley with the rumbling. Historia is the only person with royal blood that could eat zeke but right now she’s unavailable, so Levi’s idea isn’t the best. • Whilst Gabi is in another room, Armin notes how she reminds him of Eren and speak of the devil Eren literally just appears. His hand is cut which means he can go titan mode at any moment, and thanks to the Warhammer titans power, Eren can use titan powers in enclosed spaces. • The other Yaegerists storm the restaurant and hold up the survey corps, as their mission is to find Zeke. Hanji is one of the few people who know Zeke’s location and that’s the reason why Floch appeared here to kidnap her. • Although Pixis agreed to surrender to the Yaegerits, eren chose not accept that proposal because he correctly suspected that they are trying to find a way to steal the founding titan. • The Yaegerists don’t trust that Pixis is willing for them to take charge, so rather than risk being betrayed by the military, Floch intends to make Hanji to personally take them to Zeke’s location. To me his character development is perhaps the most drastic in the show right now, because before he never displayed any of these ruthless tendencies but now he’s a full on villain.
