The Water Chute located at Wicksteed Park in Kettering is the oldest flume ride in the UK that was built in 1926 by Charles Wicksteed. It was a forerunner to many of the water based theme park rides that are now popular all across the world. The ride was refurbished back in 2002 and is now a listed structure here in the UK.
