In this update video, you'll see the south Sydney Metro platform at Bankstown Station nearing completion. This platform now has a canopy and the services building at the other end of this new platform is progressing very rapidly. • You'll then see the 3 new lift shafts that have gone in at Punchbowl Station and how they integrate with the heritage concourse. • Then at Canterbury Station, I'll show you the 2 new lift shafts and a new set of stairs that have gone in as well. • At Hurlstone Park Station, I'll reveal the new lift shaft that has gone in on platform 1 and also the work to create the new concourse roof. • I finish off with a quick update on Dulwich Hill Station. • Timestamps • 00:00 Bankstown Station Metro Platform and Services Building • 02:06 Punchbowl Station - New lifts • 03:23 Canterbury Station - New Lifts and Stairs • 04:17 Hurlstone Park Station - New Lift and Roof update • 04:55 Dulwich Hill Station • Related Videos • Bankstown Station Quick Update (April 2022) - • Bankstown Station - Sydney Metro Term... • New Lifts at Wiley Park and Bankstown Metro Platform update (March 2022)- • Sydney Metro Update | New Lifts at Wi... • Bankstown Line Update - Post Summer 2022 shutdown (January 2022) - • Sydney Metro Bankstown Line Update | ... • Bankstown Station Upgrade explained - • Bankstown Station Upgrade - Sydney M... • ** Patreon ** • / transportvlog • Support Transport Vlog on Patreon and get early access to videos, ad-free content, exclusive videos, Zoom chats and much more. • ** Social Media *** • Twitter - / transportvlog • ** Equipment and Applications ** • Cameras • iPhone 11 (most footage) • Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 camera (for the serious zoomed in close-ups!) • Microphones • Sabinetek SmartMike+ (when filming) • Blue Yeti Microphone (for voiceovers) • Editing Software • Final Cut Pro • Maps created using Affinity Designer • ** Disclaimers. ** • COVID-19 • Most of my videos are recorded several weeks before being edited and uploaded. I always follow the government COVID-19 advice and requirements that applied on the day of filming. This is why you sometimes see me wearing a mask and at other times you don't. If you're watching this video during a Sydney lockdown, then please note that it was filmed at a time prior to these restrictions coming into effect. • Accuracy • I do my best to make the commentary in these videos as accurate as possible by checking facts on the internet and other sources. However, sometimes the information isn't available, so I'll use my railway knowledge and insight to explain something to the best of my ability. If accuracy is important, do check the comments, as other viewers will often pick up on things I've missed or any mistakes made. Also note that for older videos, things may change over time, causing some of the information to become out of date. • Construction Sites, Maintenance Facilities and other Private Property • All footage of construction sites, maintenance facilities and other private property is taken from a public vantage point. The only exception is if it's an open day or I have special permission to access the site. The iPhone's small lens and zoom function makes it easier to film through small gaps in hoardings or fencing, so it may look like I'm on site when I'm not! If you would like to know the exact filming location, then ask me in the comments. • To get in touch: • Email - [email protected] • Twitter DM - twitter.com/transportvlog
