Classic TV Theme Hart to Hart

A sort of updating of 1950s 'Thin Man' series, 'Hart to Hart' (1979) presented a married couple, with a dog, whose hobby is solving murders. The pairing of Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers was inspired and the series ran for five seasons, resurfacing a decade later as a series of tv movies. The lively theme was provided by Mark Snow, best known for his moody 'X Files' music. There were some minor changes over the years. The opening narration by Max (their major domo) was changed to note that Jennifer Hart 'knows how to take care of herself'. A few seasons later the theme was given a new arrangement, with piano riffs and other touches spicing it up. The selection of clips used in the open would change too, though the annoying habit of using sound effects over the theme didn't ('Charlie's Angels' did that too).
