Steamed Layer Cake

This is my version of making steamed (coconut) layer cake. They are soft and chewy. • If you give this recipe a try, let me know how it turns out. Happy cooking!! • Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss out on my future tutorials;) • • Ingredients: • 1 bag tapioca starch (14 oz) • ½ cup rice flour • 2 cups sugar (1 1/2 cups if you don’t have a sweet tooth) • 1 can coconut cream (400 ml) or coconut milk • 2 1/2 cups room temp water • • Mix all ingredients, divide batter and add food coloring of your choice. • Steam each layer 5-8 minutes depending on your tray size • • IMPORTANT IMPORTANT!!!
