Ausdecom are delighted to announce we have been awarded the contract by Department of Defence to decommission, reuse, repurpose, and recycle the Royal Australian Navy’s fleet of Armidale Class Patrol Boats over the next 4 years. Working with Defence contractors and our local supply chain, we were given control of the first boat, Ex HMAS Pirie, within the Darwin Naval Base waters. With her now safely towed and lifted onto hardstand, works are well under way. We look forward to receiving the next 3 boats scheduled for retirement this year. • #decommissioning #demolition #recycling #reuse #repurpose
