Tricare For Life Do You Need Medigap too

Tricare for Life is the supplemental insurance coverage for military retirees once they go on Medicare. • To enroll in Tricare for Life, you need Part A and Part B. • But the question I had, and asked many of my military retiree clients, is do they need a Medigap policy, Medicare Supplement is same thing, in addition? • Man, oh man, just looking over Youtube and various blogs, it's hard to get a grasp of what I thought would be a simple quesiton: • Do I need a Medicare Supplement if I have Tricare for Life? • And then, I find USAA and they say If you're eligible for TRICARE For Life, you don't need a Medicare supplement insurance policy or prescription drug plan. • 5 hours of research, down the drain. Not sure why I just didn't start with USAA to begin with! • But there you go. From the horsesmouth, USAA.
