One of the advantages of using PEX-a quality tubing is that if it becomes kinked while uncoiling it or during installation, it can easily be fixed by applying heat to return it back to its original form. • To remove a kink, apply a heat gun to the damaged area. Keep the heat on the area until the tubing turns clear. Next, turn off the heat gun and wait until the tubing turns back to its original color. You can place a cold, damp cloth around the area, to speed up the process. If you don't have a heat gun, you can use a hair dryer instead, but it will take much longer since it will not get as hot. Never use a blow torch or an open flame as this can damage the tubing. • Once finished, your tubing will have no kinks and will be back to its original shape. • For more information on PEX Tubing, and PEX tubing connections please visit www.supplyhouse.com or email us with any questions • Music by Incompetech http://incompetech.com/ • Song - Plain Loafer ISRC: US-UAN-11-00111 • Song - Vibe Ace ISRC: US-UAN-11-00360 • Licensed under Creative Commons 3.0
