The Volkswagen Tayron has officially been introduced, taking the place of the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace. Positioned between the Tiguan and Touareg in Volkswagen's lineup, the Tayron will be offered as a five-seater, with the option to add a seventh seat. • The New Tayron measures 4,770 mm in length, 1,852 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,791 mm. • The Tayron’s styling is quintessentially Volkswagen, characterized by straight lines and rectangular shapes. The headlights are connected by a thin LED light bar, which is bisected by an illuminated Volkswagen logo, sitting above a wide grille flanked by vertical vents. A defined character line extends from the front wheel arch over the rear door handle to the taillights, while chrome trim accents the side windows and extends down the D-pillar. The taillights boast a modern full-width design, adding to the SUV's contemporary look. • The Volkswagen Tayron features a similar interior layout to the Volkswagen ID.4, showcasing a 12.6-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The standard model comes with beige upholstery, while the R-line variant offers black upholstery. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, lane-change and lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and a digital interior rearview mirror. • Optional upgrades encompass a voice assistant with ChatGPT integration, a panoramic sunroof, a 700W Harman Kardon sound system, and leather upholstery with massage and ventilation functions in the seats. • Volkswagen is prioritizing comfort and practicality in the Tayron’s interior design. The SUV will be available in both 5- and 7-seat configurations, with the 5-seater providing a generous 885 liters of boot space. In the seven-seater variant, the boot offers 345 liters of space. • The Tayron is built on the MQB Evo architecture and shares its powertrains with the Tiguan. This includes a range of options, such as gasoline and diesel engines, as well as mild-hybrid and two plug-in hybrid variants. • The Tayron's engine lineup begins with a 1.5-liter turbo mild hybrid that produces 148 bhp and powers the front wheels. Following this is a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, available in two versions: one with 201 bhp and another with 261 bhp, offering both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options. On the diesel side, the 2.0-liter turbo is offered in two outputs as well: 148 bhp with front-wheel drive and 190 bhp with all-wheel drive. All engines are paired with a smooth seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. • For those interested in plug-in hybrid options, the PHEV features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine combined with a single electric motor, utilizing a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This setup provides either 201 bhp or 268 bhp, both sent to the front wheels. Volkswagen boasts an impressive electric-only range of over 62 miles for both PHEV versions, making it an attractive choice for eco-conscious drivers seeking efficiency. • • #volkswagen #tayron #volkswagentayron #volkswagentayronsuv #volkswagentayronsuv2025 #205volkswagentayronsuv #volkswagentayronsuvexteriorcoloroptions #volkswagentayronsuvpowertrain #volkswagentayronsuvtopspeed #volkswagentayronsuvphev #volkswagentayronsuvpluginhybrid #volkswagentayronsuvtestdrive
