On ‘Wachaga in Dub’ we see Kutiman turn inward, amplifying the deepest sounds within the album’s standouts, in turn creating a far more psychedelic experience. • Born out of a profoundly affecting experience, following an invitation to collaborate with the Maasai Wachaga nations in Tanzania, ‘Wachaga” has been championed by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Uncut, Jamie Cullum, The Wire. ‘Wachaga In Dub’ takes the original source material as a starting point and adds delay, reverb and phasers to elevate the music into new hallucinogenic heights.
