Even so, the windows on this property were VERY old, inefficient, and didn't work very well. I figured this would be a good opportunity to replace them all (for the sake of my current and future tenants) AND bring you along for the ride, so you can see the improvement, hear about my experience with Window World, and ultimately - decide for yourself whether or not these kinds of upgrades are worth the investment on your piece of real estate. • I've worked with other window companies in the past and had a good experience, but there are a few reasons why I chose Window World for this project: • Window World is a one-stop shop for windows. They don't just sell you a window; they handle every aspect of the process - including measuring, pricing, manufacturing, and installation (not to mention, they also measure/sell/install exterior doors as well - which is a separate project I'm planning to next year). • Window World is a nationwide company. There are plenty of comparable window companies that operate only in my market... but since I wanted this experience to be relevant to as many people as possible - I picked a company that has a presence in most major markets around the U.S. • Window World has a lifetime transferrable warranty on all windows, which is a pretty standard thing among windows companies these days - but this company makes it easier than most since they contract directly with the installers (rather than making the customers fend for themselves). • Window World is an ideal choice for lower-priced windows. Being a rental property, I wasn't looking for the Cadillac level, but more like the Chevrolet level of windows. They didn't need to be amazing, just up to today's standards and built to last for decades. • As you can see from the video above, my experience went pretty well! Every Window World franchise is independently owned and operated (so there's no way to guarantee what your experience will be like). Hopefully, this video will give you a feel for what you can expect from your area's Window World franchise office.
