Destiny 2 Lightfall - Guardian Rank 8 Requirements Guardian Rank 7 Upgrade Ceremony. Just a quick video showing the requirements to hit Guardian Rank 8, and the little ceremony and dialogue you get for reaching rank 7. Details below. • Guardian ranks could be a good feature to give a little more chase in the game, but it's unfortunately heavily ruined by a few things. One, the fact it resets every season. Two, nearly every single player is at rank 6. And three, the fact that commendations are even a consideration of guardian ranks. It's basically just play a bunch of activities and hope that people do the pointless thing of randomly commending each other without any thought, or use one of the quick wipe cheeses to get up points (Master Wellspring, Last Wish Petra's Run Wiping). Both are equally pointless, and it's something I don't think should be part of the requirements of guardian rank. • That being said, I wasn't planning to make a video on this. But surprisingly I've had quite a few people actually ask for it, and I had the footage saved from yesterday just in case for the Lightfall compilation video, and the dialogue.
