NY's Libertine. Maybe one of the best punk rock bands of late 90's-early 2000's, unfortunately dead and gone. • • / libertinenyc • • Libertine were fronted by Belvy K, previously a member of 7 Seconds, UK Subs and D Generation. Libertine blended punk power, new wave melody, and even a little glam. The band toured the U.S., Canada, Europe extensively, playing alongside Green Day, Lunachix, Motley Crue, Rancid, Social Distortion, Kid Rock, Smashmouth, Misfits and many, many more. A lengthy discography and non stop touring (including 3 Warped Tours) would help cement Libertine a spot as one of the more important, if not underrated, late 90's/early 00's punk bands. • • Guttersnipe Glamour 7 , Pelado Records, 1999
