How to file taxes for free in Canada using UFile

Hi Everyone, • In this video, I am going to show you step by step process that you need follow to file your taxes. It is important to have all your files ready before you start the process. These files include: T4, T5, T3, T4A slips. In addition to these, you might also need medical receipts, RRSP contributions, etc. as well. • These will make the process easier for you. As always, if you have additional questions, please feel free to comment below. • • Some points which is not mentioned in the video: • • A] It is important to have all necessary documents [T4, T4As, T2202a and any other tax form for the tax year] with you before you start the process. • These forms can be found in PAWS account (PAWS--Tuition and Fees--Get My Tax Receipts) if you are employed and a student of the University of Saskatchewan. • B] If you are new to Canada and have not filed income tax before, under specific situation in Interview setup page, you would need to tick Immigrant, emigrant, non-resident button and fill the information about when you entered in Canada first along with your estimated income. • C] if you are new and your electronic transmission was not successful. Please download two documents which can be found at TAX RETURN tab: • • 1] Download PDF • 2] Federal Print • Please make sure that there are No errors prior to printing.
