In this video I have explained the activation of vitamin D in the liver and kidney by hydroxylation process. Regulation of active vitamin D3 by PTH (parathyroid hormone), 24-hydroxylase and active vitamin D itself. Main function of vitamin D is to regulate calcium and phosphate levels in the blood.
