Felix, Jenna, and Sheba fight King Scorpion in a long, fierce battle (not really) and obtain the Scoop Gem for their efforts. With this new psynergy ability, we leave Yampi Desert while getting more unique items on our way out. If you haven't guessed by watching (spoilers) we're going to Air's Rock before Alhafra... • • --- • • STATUS: • • Items found - Vial (drop), Scoop Gem (drop), 315 coins, Hard Nut, Blow Mace, Trainer's Whip • • Levels gained - Felix (lvl. 9), Jenna (lvl. 9), Sheba (lvl. 9) • • GUIDE: • • Boss - King Scorpion • • Actually, this guy is kinda tough and/or annoying for only the second boss battle. He can damage, stun, and even poison you, so be careful and use your Herbs, Antidotes, and Elixirs. That's why they exist in this game! Well, this guy is weak to fire, so nail him with Cannon and either Zagan or Mars. You probably need to maneuver yourself through this battle with a strategy. Heal when necessary and plan your attack at the right time. Anticipate King Scorpion's next moves. Hang in there and you'll win. Also, watch out if you neglect to heal soon; he can kill Sheba in two turns. Snap just like that... • • Equip your Scoop Gem to bestow the almighty power of.....Scoop? Oh well, it's useful I guess. Retreat and head south of where the people are. You'll see an obviously conspicous place for Scoop. Yes, a new path! Follow it to another cave. Before you enter it, get the 315 coins using Scoop. In here you'll see something a little bit familiar, such as the swirling maze of sand currents in the Venus Lighthouse. Fight through and get a Hard Nut and the Blow Mace (both are important). Keep going, get outside, and find your way to the treasure box containing the Trainer's Whip, another class-changing item. I don't find it all that useful, but maybe you do? Anyway, if you plan to go on to Alhafra, skip ahead a few episodes since I'm going on to Air's Rock. It's backtracking through the desert either way since I'd need to go back to Alhafra after I have Reveal. Plus, it would be a long fight against Briggs, who is seemingly stronger if you head straight to him at level 9 or 10. • • I do not own this development.
