My Father and my Aunt are both from Ilocos Norte, and since I was a child, they have taught me how to cook different kinds of delicious Ilocano recipes. This is my Ilocano Aunt's best way of cooking this very famous recipe of Ilocos. • Short Fact: Igado came from the Spanish word Higado which also means Liver. For Ilocanos, Dinaldalem came from Ilocano root word Dalem which also means, Liver. Igado and Adobo are cooked almost in the same manner. Mangan tayon!
