Testing Common Rail Diesel Injectors on the Bosch EPS205 Test Stand. This video shows the test steps for testing common rail injectors. Injectors are tested for proper operation during multiple tests. Tests include coil resistance, full load delivery, idle flow , nozzle tip leakage, return fuel, fuel delivery, and pilot injection quantity. Piezo injectors with an IQA (IMA) code are checked for variation from the classification. Testing injectors will help identify the causes for hard start, no start, white smoke, miss, knock or rough run.
