It was a week after Exceptional Minds’ Summer Program ended and what a fun program it was. The LAX flight reports will come soon too. It feels great to be back in NYC full time again for the first time since graduating college, and yeah. Since mid-2024, Pitkin Yard has started retiring R46 sets or transferring them to Coney Island Yard as more R211As enter the system. Over the next year, we can expect a decent number of ex-Pitkin sets that are in good condition to continue running on the (N) (Q) and (W) Lines. This set that we took the ride on is a former Pitkin set that ran in the (A) Line previously. This set gave us a smooth ride and I am glad some of the sets that are still reliable will be maintained and run on Broadway. CI Yard truly made the R46s feel home. So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy this one.
