Learn how to use some basic components from the Elegoo Super Starter Kit to make this project which uses an ultrasonic sensor to measure distances. The distances will be displayed on the LCD. • Elegoo Super Starter Kit Link for Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/ELEGOO-Project... • Wiring Instructions: • • Materials: • 1 Uno R3 Board • 1 Breadboard • 1 Ultrasonic Sensor • 1 LCD (1602 Module with 16 pins) • 5 Black wires (1 needs to be long) • 4 Red wires (1 needs to be long) • 5 Yellow wires (2 need to be long) • 4 Orange wires • Setup: • Let’s wire the ultrasonic sensor first: • Plug the 4 pins of the ultrasonic sensor into slots a60, a61, a62 and a63. The VCC pin of the sensor should be in slot a60 and the GND pin of the sensor should be in slot a63. • Plug one end of a short red wire into slot d60 and the other into any slot on the positive rail. • Plug one end of a short black wire into slot d63 and the other end into any slot on the negative rail. • Plug one end of a long yellow wire into slot d61 and the other end into slot 13 on the UNO board. • Plug one end of a long yellow wire into slot d62 and the other end into slot 12 on the UNO board. • Now, let’s wire the LCD panel. • Plug the 16 pins of the LCD panel into slots f1-f16 of the breadboard. • A short black wire goes from j1 to the negative rail. • A short red wire goes from j2 to the positive rail. • A short black wire goes from j3 to the negative rail. • A yellow wire goes from j4 to slot 11 on the UNO board. • A yellow wire goes from j5 to slot 10 on the UNO board. • A yellow wire goes from j6 to slot 9 on the UNO board. • An orange wire goes from j11 to slot 2 on the UNO board. • An orange wire goes from j12 to slot 3 on the UNO board. • An orange wire goes from j13 to slot 4 on the UNO board. • An orange wire goes from j14 to slot 5 on the UNO board. • A short red wire goes from j15 to the positive rail. • A short black wire goes from j16 to the negative rail. • (Slots j7-j10 will be empty in case you are wondering.) • A long red wire goes from the 3.3V slot on the UNO board to the positive rail. • A long black wire goes from the GND slot on the UNO board to the negative rail. Use the GND slot that is on the same rail as the 3.3V slot. • • Sorry, the Arduino Code cannot be posted here due to characters not allowed by Youtube.
