Fifth Astute-class submarine HMS Anson was formally commissioned in Barrow shipyard today in a ceremony attended by the Prime Minister, the Defence Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister of Australia. • The boat will leave the yard to begin sea trials in the next few months.
