Finally you can see detailed instructions on installing a Helical Cutter on a Ridgid Planer R4331. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time now and could never find any detailed instructions. Well, I decided I was going to be the person to create them. If you have been wanting a Helical Cutter on a Ridgid Planer R4331, then you have come to the right video. This is not a hard upgrade at all. I know most people use the Shelix brand helical cutter, but I chose to use the Luc Cut III cutter head. The 2 main reasons were that the Lux Cut III are kept in stock and MyWoodCutter.com while the Shelix is about a 5 week wait.
