Over the course of three decades, he became renowned as one of the most influential improvisational soloists and jazz musicians, shaping the soundscape of Haitian jazz and beyond. His skillful play, rich in both technical mastery and emotional depth, earned him a revered place in the hearts of music lovers. • Sadly, Webert Sicot passed away in February 1985 following a heart attack, but his legacy lives on.
