I found this score, Scherzo No. 1, on David Dinh's musescore.com page, I think yesterday or the day before. • https://musescore.com/user/19233641/s... • I was listening to it and realized it reminded me of something. I took some strings, both sampled and synth, and added a percussive synth sound and realized it reminded me of Syncopated Clock, a piece recorded and released with the flip side On Top of Old Smokey, by CBS Records, back in 1951. I believe Syncopated Clock was used as both a think piece for a game show, not sure which, and one of those pieces that would be put on the radio or TV when there were technical difficulties, please stand by . • It's really nice.
