In this episode of Black Dog Builds, you get to know one of our talented fabricators, John Hobson, as he brings one of Robert's recent ideas to life, custom, magnetic, shotskis! A staple of ski lodges, bars and festivals, a shotski is a super fun way to sample your favorite beverage with some good friends. • John has a background in theater and he uses that charisma to walk you through the various steps involved in over-engineering a shotski. He starts by removing the bindings, then he measures and drills 4 holes into which he will recess powerful neodymium magnets which will help hold the shot glasses in place but make removing them to clean a breeze! • The crew just HAD to grab some great local beer and test out John's creation, with big dog Mike's supervision of course!
