This is Top 3D Shop, and in this video, we will tell you about the Formlabs 3D printers. • American company Formlabs is one of the leading developers and manufacturers of SLA machines and auxiliary equipment for resin printing, also offering a high-performance SLS unit. • The basic model in the current line of SLA printers named Form 3+ is a professional laser 3D printer using the technology of low force stereolithography, or LFS. One of the advantages of LFS is the small contact area between the supports and the model. The easy removal of such supports speeds up the post-processing stage. • Form 3B+ is a modification of the previous model designed specifically for medical applications. The printer is ready for use with all Formlabs resins including biocompatible ones. • Form 3L and 3BL, in turn, are large-sized versions of basic models equipped with two lasers. They are the most productive SLA printers in the Formlabs lineup, with the dimensions of the build chambers of 335 x 200 x 300 millimeters. • For post-processing of finished products, the manufacturer offers two dedicated devices: Form Wash facilitates cleaning of parts from resin residues, and Form Cure accelerates final polymerization of finished prints. The Formlabs line also includes large-format devices for post-processing with the index L. • Equipped with a 30-watt laser, the new version of the Formlabs Fuse 1 SLS printer indexed ‘Plus’ is a compact unit for sintering powdered polymers.
