I found pattern of very beautiful cabled slouchy hat. It was a little bit tricky to crochet this hat, so I decided to share my experience with you and to make video tutorial. I love this gorgeous texture. This hat is perfect for chilly autumn evenings, or cold winter days. It's very stretchy and fits medium size adult head. But you can easily adjust the size by making circumference wider or smaller. • If you want to make hat in different sizes, make a foundation chain in multiples of 10 + 4 chains as a first dc. • Size: circumference of finished hat is 53 cm. • Skill level: intermediate. This pattern requires basic crochet skills. • Stitches Used: ch-chain, st-stitch, sl st-slip stitch, sc-single crochet, dc-double crochet, dc2tog-double crochet two together, fpdc-front post double crochet, bpdc-back post double crochet, puff stitch. • Puff stitch: • Step 1: Yarn over. Insert the hook into the stitch. Pull the yarn through the stitch. Bring the loop up. • Step 2: Yarn over. Insert the hook into the same stitch. Pull the yarn through the stitch.Bring the loop up to match the same height as the previous loop. There should now be 5 loops on your hook. • Step 3: Yarn over. Insert the hook into the same stitch. Pull the yarn through the stitch.Bring the loop up to match the same height as the previous loop. There should now be 7 loops on your hook. • Step 4:Yarn over.
