For now, my plan to is focus on helping with the event and live streaming as much as I can. • ○ FAQs: • • How can I help? • You can help bronies simply by following whatever our active template is and repair vandalized pixels one by one, or you can dive into the game of r/Place by conducting diplomacy with our neighbors, collaborating on art ideas, discussing tactics, and more. Check out our Discord server at the webpage linked above. • • What is the brony faction? • The bronies are a r/Place faction who wish to draw pony on the canvas and make as many friends as possible. We believe strongly in friendship, but we are also very defensive of our territory and have a history of standing up against enemies with outrageously miss-matched odds. In 2022, a couple thousand bronies persisted against hundreds of thousands of griefers. In addition to being known for our dedication, we're always looking to make allies and friends! Friendship Is Magic! • • What is a brony? • We're fans of some cartoon from 2010 you may have heard of. • https://www.whatisabrony.com • • Who is the brony leader? • There is no brony leader. Bronies are spread across many different platforms and many different countries. My personal goal is to encourage bronies to remain united under a banner of peace and friendship. • • What about the Reddit protests? • Reddit is currently getting a lot of flak for demanding millions of dollars to use their previously-free API and shutting down countless 3rd party applications. Because of the harm this is doing to Reddit communities, especially those who are blind or rely upon the API for moderation, some plan to use r/Place as an opportunity to stage a protest. Bronies will probably support these protest efforts, although since our main goal is to draw a pony on the canvas we probably won't join any sort of canvas-wide blackout.
