All in all though, it's not actually too difficult, and you're given A LOT of resources that make your life easier. The stage itself isn't too bad, and you can take out the lot of the fairies by making sure you shoot them down before they're given a chance to fire. The mid-boss is a little tough, but ultimately goes down pretty simple once you know what you're getting into.
