February 11, 2019 - They’re Playing Our Song celebrated a triumphant 40th anniversary in concert at the Music Box Theatre on February 11. Original Broadway stars Robert Klein and Lucie Arnaz recreated their performances to a huge ovation. Special thanks to the original ‘voices’ Debbie Gravitte and Hal Shane, along with cast members Ivy Austin, Housso Semon, Hugh Panaro and Andrew Fitch. The orchestra was conducted by original musical director Larry Blank and we salute director Chet Walker and the entire creative team led by our producer Tim Pinckney. Special guests in the audience included Producer Emmanuel Azenberg, Elaine Joyce Simon, Terre Hamlisch, original pianist Fran Liebergal and original publicist Bill Evans.
