DIY Pool Cover Build

Using a tarp on my pool hasn't worked well, and my deck is not friendly for a regular pool safety cover, so I decided to build my own! • Used 2x6 boards to span the pool. On one side I added a 2x8 board on end to add slope to the 2x6 joists. • Used old tarp to cover and secured in place by 1x2 strapping. • Ran into some trouble part way through the winter!
