Story of Sirdar knitting company from its start in Yorkshire in the Gilded Age of 1880 to today but focusing on the vintage knitting patterns from the 1930s, 40s and 50s, with a sprinkling of celebrity and a pioneering woman in the Boardroom. Sir Roger Moore as the big knit and Susan Shaw as well as the starlets the models were evoking.
