Guided and leveled readers can be really really expensive so I thought putting some packs of leveled readers might be helpful to teachers out there. These reading passages are leveled using the SMOG and Flesch Kincaid Grade Level. As with all things this is dependent on the background, prior knowledge and reading level of your students. Some will find it easier some will find it more difficult. So they are designed for you to use your professional judgement • Who are they for? • I have started to make some readers that help to supplement schools and classrooms reading schemes and can be used as a resource when needed and there will be others to come on the site soon as well. These are aimed at Kindergarten and grade 1 to 3 students and i have tried to keep the text at lower reading levels. There are editable versions on the store if you wanted to increase the difficultly for your particular students.
