Spring is almost here which is a time for fresh asparagus!! Low Carb Asparagus Soup with Herbamare is one of my favorite soups. • Find recipe at: • Music by: Gymnopedie No 1 by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...) • Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-... • Artist: http://incompetech.com/ • Recipe: • 2 tablespoons Salted Butter • 1 3/4 cup (approx. 87grams) chopped onion • 1 lb (454 grams)asparagus pieces • 1.5 to 2 cups chicken broth • 1/2 tablespoon Herbamare 'Spice or salt and pepper • Melt butter, add onion- sauté until transparent, add asparagus, broth and spice. Simmer until the asparagus is cooked. • Pour into a food processor and blend until completely smooth (know chunks) If you are using the processor while the liquid is hot, please slowly loosen the top and release the pressure. • Pour into bowls and serve!
