This is the first song I ever heard live in a pub in Ireland. A cold October evening, jet lagged and tired, I happened upon a quiet pub in Kilkenny with a peat moss fire and a couple gents having some tunes over pints. I didn't know the song at the time and only had a snippet in my memory when I left. I spent the rest of the trip humming the melody to anyone who would listen to try and figure out what it was until a Thurles (Up Tipperary County!) based musician helped me solve the mystery.
