This is a Black Decker 40v Max String Trimmer that my dad bought brand new to replace his Echo SRM-230 ( • Echo SRM-230 (Older Gray Model) Strin... ) from the older house. This has already been a really fantastic trimmer and we did upgrade to a slightly thicker diameter string so it would perform better in taller grass. The battery has a little indicator to let you know how the charge is, and it has a feature that lets you convert to an edger by rotating the head by a small push button down on the trimmer head. It has a 40 volt (with lithium ion battery) Power Drive high torque motor with 6 adjustable power levels for certain grass types, and has an automatic feed spool trimmer head. This is overall a very nice machine to use and certainly performs amazing.
