THANK YOU! • / riflechair • The most sought after of the lettered series is the Luxus grade. • This rifle is chambered in 30-06 Springfield • This Steyr Luxus M has: • Stamped steel in line detachable box magazines • Single Set adjustable trigger • Walnut wood that runs from great to fantastic -- no scratches, cracks, dents or gouges. • This isn't one of those Steyr rifles with has the cycolac (plastic) rotary mags and trigger guard assembly. These are known to crack or break if dropped on a hard surface or if the action screws are over-tightened - Not so with the all steel Luxus model. • Euro-Bavarian style stock with the Bundsweir pistol grip palm swell is very comfortable. • The twist pattern on the outside of the barrel comes from the hammer forging process that Steyr is famous for. • The model M action is still used on the SSG 308 sniper rifle, the newer versions use the SBS action, similar but not the same as the old ones. • An excellent quality rifle that has the capability of out shooting most of its owners. • Forward barrel mounted sling swivel has been moved to the stock's foregrip. A blueing blemish remains on the barrel where the original stud was located. Nicely done and re-enforced. • There are some specs of water staining in the grooves towards the muzzle however 98% of the bore remains bright, shiny with razor sharp rifling. • Bueller Scope Mounts / 1 Split Rings ARE included - Scope NOT included. • Rubber recoil pad is soft plyable and in excellent shape
