Naturally, one became the guys’ bathroom, and the other the girls’. Since I was the odd one out, I mostly used the girls’ bathroom. • One night, during a party, a friend of mine decided to use the guys’ bathroom since the girls’ one was occupied. When she came back, she had a weird look on her face. “You guys must go through hand soap like crazy,” she said. • Everyone exchanged confused glances. “What do you mean?” someone asked. • She replied, “I used it last month, and it was out. I just used it now, and it’s still out.” • Silence. You could see the realization hit all of us like a ton of bricks. None of the guys had replaced the hand soap. Worse, it dawned on us that no one had been washing their hands in that bathroom for weeks—maybe months. • The rest of the party turned into a roast fest as everyone mocked the guys mercilessly.
