Today, we have two watches that are both from the Cartier collection, the Cartier Ballon Bleu and the Cartier Cle. Cartier is the master of shapes and cases. And I think that both of these watches show off of that mastery, the Ballon Bleu is a modern classic because it is so universally flattering on almost everyone's wrist. The way that the bracelet melts from bracelet to case back to bracelet with these smaller, subtle lugs, the way that the case actually grows and protects this beautiful crown, the way that the actual face of the watch contours around the crown. It's a really simple design, but executed so elegantly, which is kind of Cartier's way. Also, I love these diamond, our markers on this one that I've chosen. I think that it adds a lot of subtle shimmer to this piece. The Cle de Cartier, in my opinion, is kind of a modern take on a more vintage looking case shape. • I love the contouring on this piece. I love how it adds a lot of interest to the side of the watch. And I really, really love this rectangular crown. I think it's such a unique design feature. It's just such a gorgeous detail that Cartier really looks into every time they design a watch. This one also has blue Roman numeral hour markers, which I love it adds a little bit of color to these Cartier dials, which I really think that is such a fun touch that you don't see all of the time from cardiac. Both of these are great choices for watches. And I think that I have trouble choosing between the two. I love both of them equally.
