In the small Tatar village of Kazarovo in Siberia's Tyumen region, a monument honours Feliks Dzerzhinsky. He was the feared chief of the Soviet secret police, mostly under the leadership Vladimir Lenin. • The statue to the Cheka founder was installed in 1980 but was removed in the mid-1990s after the fall of the Soviet Union.
